Accountability Partner Questions: The Weekly Check-In That Actually Works

Most accountability partnerships collapse within a month. Not from bad intentions — from bad questions. "How''d the week go?" invites a summary. A summary invites a story. A story invites the flattering version. What you need is a scored check-in: short, specific, and answered by the person watching, not the person being watched.
Why the witness answers, not you
Self-reporting measures your memory of your intentions. An outside witness measures what actually landed in the room. That distinction is the entire point of an accountability partner: the score is evidence, not a claim. If you grade your own presence, you will grade the effort. Your partner grades the result.
