Biological Sovereignty and the Dichotomy of Control

Biological Sovereignty and the Dichotomy of Control

Governance of the Biological Machine

The week began with a foundational premise in stoicism for men: the dichotomy of control. As Marcus Aurelius noted in Meditations, the mind should be a citadel, indifferent to what occurs outside its walls while remaining meticulously disciplined within them. To the untrained eye, health is seen as a series of fortunate or unfortunate outcomes—illness, aging, or aesthetics. To the practitioner of the Superior Man Protocol, health is the ultimate testing ground for sorting what is yours from what is not.

The common error is emotional investment in outcomes. You do not control the rate of your metabolism on a Tuesday, the specific integer on a scale, or the genetic ceiling of your performance. When you react to these metrics with frustration, you are surrendering your stillness to external variables. You are overreacting to noise.
